Academic Calendar 2011/2012

The Academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester is divided into 3 periods (8-8-4).

An overview of the enrolment periods for the academic year 2011-2012 is published in the attachment 'Academic Calendar 11-12, enrolment periods'.

All Academic Calendars are published under provision of the formal approval of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business.

Timetables 2011/2012

On the UvA Timetables website you find teaching and examination timetables for the study programmes of the University of Amsterdam.
Timetables and schedules for courses and examinations for the academic year 2011/2012 are published under provision.
Please note that examination schedules are always published under provision until the bookings of the examination venues have been confirmed.

How to use the UvA Timetables website

As the timetables and schedules are published exclusively on the UvA Timetables website, a short manual on how to use this website is available in both Dutch and English.

The Faculty's course catalogues are available online. In the digital course catalogue the programme descriptions, programme schedules and course descriptions are published, as well as the course catalogues from the previous academic years.

The Academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester is divided into two quarters. Every week of the Academic year is meant for a specific activity.

An overview of the Academic year in semesters, quarters, weeks and activities is published as the document Academic Calendar: Academic Year.

An overview of the Academic year per programme is publshed as the document Academic Calendar: All Programmes.

An overview of the enrollment periods for the registration for courses and examinations is published as the document Academic Calendar: Enrollment periods.
