The Student Council promotes the interests of students within the UvA. The elections are an opportunity for students to show involvement in their education and the UvA.

Check your personal details

To be able to vote or stand as a candidate it is vital that your personal details are correctly recorded in the electoral register. Therefore, please check that your name, address and study programme are correct.

• This is possible up to and including 22 February in the online electoral register or in MijnUvA (see links below)
• If the details are not correct, please send and email with correct details to: centraal-stembureau@uva.nl

Student council elections dates

• 21 - 28 February: Students can check their personal details in the electoral register;
• 28 March - 04 April: Candidate nominations. In this period, you can put yourself forward as a candidate for a Faculty Student Council or the Central Student Council;
• 9 - 13 May: Voting period
