As of 1 January 2010 Informatie Beheer Groep (IB-Groep)  - the organisation that organises student grants and loans -and Centrale Financiën Instellingen (CFI) have merged to form the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO). DUO falls directly under the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

The IB-Groep will be called DUO - IB-Groep henceforth. For customers of the IB-Groep nothing will change further. The products remain the same.

However, there is a new website - www.ocwduo.nl. Here you will find further information about DUO and the background to the merger.
