More than four million study results have been migrated from the old system Studieweb. Now that all the study results are available in SIS, you are able to view your study progress in your academic plan and, where applicable, apply for your degree certificate and look at your (binding) study advice.

Law student Sander Wirken has won the UvA Thesis Competition 2011. He was presented with this special distinction during the University Day on Saturday, 28 May. Medical student Soemirien Kasanmoentalib came second. Third place was shared by Peter Bloem (Artificial Intelligence) and Ammeke Kateman (History).

Entrance policy Bushuis study centre changed during exam period
During the exam period from 14 May to 20 June, the Bushuis study centre on the Kloveniersburgwal will (just like the UB) only be open for students and employees of the University of Amsterdam and Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Entrance is only possible on presentation of a valid student ID card with a photo.
