Student Council Elections

This year, the Student Council elections will be held during the Week of the Amsterdam Student. On Monday, 7 May, at 15:30 there will be a debate in Felix Meritis, with special guest Ronald Plasterk, Minister of Education. Registration at the website www.amsterdamsestudent.nl is required to attend the debate, which will be held in Dutch. In addition, on Wednesday, 9 May, a Vote! party will be held in Hotel Arena. The week will close with the election of Miss & Mister Student Amsterdam in Odeon on Thursday, 10 May.

The members of the Student Councils are chosen by you, so cast your vote via www.student.uva.nl/kandidaten (follow the link below) . This site also provides more information about the various parties and their viewpoints.

The Week of the Amsterdam Student is a co-operative effort between the Student Councils of the UvA, VU, HvA and the ASVA Student Union.
