Visiting professor: Jean-Claude Guédon

Professor Jean-Claude Guédon is visiting IViR for three months. Professor Guédon is professor at the University of Montreal, Department of Comparative Literature. His main research interest is the interface between literature and information technology. He is particularly well-known as a pioneer and protagonist of open access scientific publishing. Professor Guédon is IViR's guest at the joint initiative of Amsterdam University Press and IViR, partners in the European OAPEN project that is aimed at developing open access models in the humanities. Professor Guédon will contribute to the OAPEN project during his stay in Amsterdam.
