Graduation and deadlines
Do not forget to apply for your diploma in time (before 1 August, if you wish to graduation in the current academic year)! The diploma will not be issued automatically.
If you wish to graduation this current academic year, the following rules apply:
- You must start the graduation procedure in the month of July at the latest, right after you took the last exams (all results will probably not yet be issued then).
- The grade of your LLM thesis must have been handed in with the Registry (student administration) before 25 August.
- We advise you to follow this time path:
Start your writing process early in the second semester. You must have found a supervisor before 1 May, with whom you must make proper arrangements as to the reviewing process, taking into account reviewing delays and holidays.
Should you waite too long, your graduation within the current academic year cannot be garuanteed! This means you must re-register for the new academic year and pay extra tuition fee.
