In general: 

  • First, consult the timetables on the website http://rooster.uva.nl/current_en and write down a number of possible seminar combinations. Make sure that the seminars you choose, do not overlap.
  • You can register for a maximum of 40 EC per semester
  • As soon as the scheduled seminars are fully booked, seminar Y automatically opens. You have to register for seminar Y. Only students who have registered for seminar Y are eligible for subsequent registration in the extra seminars! For the registration periods see the academic calendar 2011-2012 (http://www.student.uva.nl/lawstudents/timetables.cfm).
  • Cancelling a registration is possible via SiS until one week before the course commences.  Any alterations to your registration beyond this date are only possible through the secretariats of the various departments.

How to register

You can register for courses via SiS (https://www-med.sis.uva.nl:8011/) which is accessible 24 hours per day, 7 weeks a week during the registration periods indicated in the academic calendar, through every computer with an internet connection. You need your student number and the password for your student e-mail account. If you have lost or forgotten your password, you can request an new password at the service desk of one of the UvA Study Centres.
