Assessment procedure

The research award jury consists of representatives from the Academic and Higher Education field, Cordaid and the Multatuli Lecture Foundation.

The jury’s assessment of submitted theses will be based on their relevance in terms of expanding existing knowledge on Dutch multicultural society, the scientific basis for the research methods and techniques applied and the impeccable use of the language in which the thesis is written.

In the event that multiple theses are awarded the same mark, the winners may receive a joint award. The jury’s decision will be final.
