Below you will find information for students who are currently enrolled at the UvA or have been enrolled at the UvA in the past.

Enrolment procedure for current students

As a student at the UvA, you are required to renew your enrolment and pay tuition fees each year.

Tuition fee payments

When enrolling in Studielink, you will need to fill in the payment details.

After your enrolment

After your first enrolment, an account will be created for you in Studielink, the Higher Education portal for the Netherlands. International students will only need to use this for re-enrolment (each academic year), changing personal data ,such as an address, in the Netherlands and terminating enrolment.

Changes to enrolment

You can make changes to your enrolment using Studielink (see link below). The most common enrolment changes, including conditions and consequences, are as follows

If you wish to terminate your enrolment prematurely, please submit this information via Studielink

Enrolment only per 1 September or 1 February

Enrolment is only possible per 1 September or 1 February. If your (re-)enrolment request in Studielink has not been submitted before these dates you can no longer enrol.

Other administrative services

Graduation and requesting a degree certificate

As of 1 November 2011, it is possible to request your degree certificate through SIS.

Deregister from DUO - IB-Group and cancel Student Public Transport Pass (OV-chipkaart)

After you have graduated you will have to cancel your financial assistance for students and / or loan, as well as your Student Public Transport Pass (OV-chipkaart).

Enrolment for courses and examinations

As of 20 June 2011, the first faculties will begin course registration via the Student Information System (SIS). This system will replace a number of technically outdated systems such as Studieweb and CTIS.

Change of address notification

It is possible to register two addresses in Studielink: your Municipal Administration (GBA) and your correspondence address.
